Audience feedback

For our audience feedback we got a group of people the same age as our target audience (16-25) and had them watch our trailer and view our posters and magazine front cover. We also took a video recording of a group answering our questionnaire.

These are some of our questionnaires that we scanned into our computer.

Ancillary

We have completed our ancillary tasks of making posters for our new soap opera and making a front page magazine advertising our new soap opera.
Hawa took the main photos of the actors portraying Stacey, Geoffrey and Marco. Shannon and Scott brought in family photos which would be suitable for the cover of the magazine and took a photo for the cover.

These are the photographs that Hawa took for the ancillary task.

We used this picture fro the internet for our top storyline on our magazine cover. It is the only image from the internet we have used.

This is the picture that Shannon and Scott took

These are photographs that Shannon and Scott brought in from home to use on the magazine cover.

Shannon and Scott created 2 mock ups for possible posters. The poster on the top became our final design.

Shannon and Scott stayed behind after college and used their free tine throughout the week in order to put together the finished ancillary on time. They finished the magazine on Tuesday and the posters by Friday. In order to do this Shannon and Scott worked together putting together ideas and each added their own twist on it. Scott created the logo, cut out the pictures and did the editing and Shannon helped with the design of the magazine cover and posters mock up. Together Shannon and Scott made three solo posters, a large A3 poster and the magazine front cover together using Adobe InDesign.
Here are the finished products.

Iconic Music

We went on to Jamendo.com to find the music for our soap opera trailer. We found serveral tracks that we liked the sound of and after careful consideration we narrowed it down to one. The track is entitled 'Night Out' on the album 'This Ain't Hollywood' by 'Silence is Sexy'.

We found a copyright free bleep to censor our trailer so that it would be suitable for daytime viewing.
